Camera support for OneNote desktop

One feature lacking in OneNote desktop is the ability to take picture with the in-built camera. There are of course some workarounds, but it is nevertheless surprising that such a useful feature (albeit available in OneNote UWM) is lacking for such a long time.

I discovered a few month ago the Sk_Cam add-in on a reddit forum, and finally took time to try it recently.

It works flawlessly, both with OneNote 2013 and OneNote 2016.

There are no bells and whistles, no Office Lens’ kind features, nor the ability to crop the picture before inserting it in your note, but it does its job decently.

It manages both camera (rear and front), and offers the possibility to specify the output size (although without taking care of the original ratio).

You can download it on Sourceforge.

Thanks to Ennui, for this useful development !
